As to point 8 Taking over the world should be number one.. alongside eating lots of bacon and becoming a general badass. =) good luck out there! remember to pew pew even when you are logi'ing everyone .. even if that does end up you just whispering Pew pew at your computer every now and then ^^
I think the best thing for you to do here is look at what you have already flown and think to yourself.. Is this the type of Pvp I like doing and is it working for me? How was it flying the hawk? What was your fit? Did it work and most of all, did you have fun? The Vengeance is a similar ship to the hawk as in it is primarily a active tank ship with rockets.
If you are looking for a Inty that can perform like either of these ships then IMO you should just stay with AF's as it is hard to get that performance.
As many people have pointed out.. a Slicer is a cheap version of an interceptor. Performs exceptionally well at kiting and will get you used to the speeds an Inty can get too while understanding the real possibility of getting one shotted by pretty much everything. They are class solo ships. Fleet ships not so much.
The crusader can perform similar to the slicer in a kite situation but from experience it dosnt quite hit the mark. As a fleet ship for close range dps tackle it can actually do very well getting 230dps with multifrequency. Rombus (Syker) in red uses one quite a bit and seems to love it getting some great results.
Trial by error and experimentation will ultimately teach you more than anything so just pick something you like the look/sound of and give it a shot =)
Thanx for everyone who turned up to this little chin wag.. and a HUGE SHOUT to all the Command Members and Long time Vets of RvB who came in fleet with me and got blown up in a very premature blaze of glory lol
I had no idea that so many people would join the purple fleet but seriously... 130 people... FUCK.
Anyway, thanks everyone so much for an awesome time in RvB and in Eve. Will miss it a lot but probably for the best I wont have any internet
Remember your all one big unit. Not 2 separate hating factions. We are RvB, and You guys are the ones who make it.
First thing. Unless you have a lot of BS, like plus 10 ish each with 1/2 large reps your fleet needs at least 2 full rr domis to compensate. Each needs an ECCM, and ofc Cap booster. Prop mod is pointless. Fleet needs a rep Anchor (usually the BS with the largest amount of reps). A fairly large buffer is pretty standard but if its just a pure RR fleet then having high resists are going to benefit more from the RR.
Its important to have a second kind of target caller for repps, as its just something extra for the FC to not think about.
