RvB Community Meeting - 7th December 2014

04 December 2014 - 11:54 AM

fGiVoDz.png

There will be an RvB community meeting taking place this Sunday, 7th December at 1900 EvE. This replaces the originally scheduled FC Class Mink was to be hosting at the same time.

The meet will be held on our Mumble alongside the RvB Community in game channel. The mumble channel will be the RvB Community Lounge.

These are something RvB does rarely, so try not to squander the opportunity to voice your opinion on the matters discussed and get Commands take on various issues surrounding RvB, as well as raising matters you wish to see addressed. Yngvarr is currently the most senior command representative to sign on, however others will be in attendance.

The following topics will be covered

1 - RvB today. How do you feel about being a member;

2 - RvB Ethics. How should we be acting versus how we actually act and why It even matters;

3 - FC'ing. If you don't do It why? what can we do to give you that extra push, what do we already do?

4 - Command. Who In command deals with what and who can you talk to with your problems or Issues?

5 - Mumble. Do's and don'ts; Correct use of it and general comparison to EVE Voice;

6 - Q and A.

Notes will be taken and put on the forums for those that can't make It but I strongly advise turning up.

MANG EDIT: By notes, Mink means this meeting will be live streamed to our twitch channel and uploaded to youtube following this. A volunteer to stream is required, you'll need to be a competent streamer. Get in touch with Mangala.

Devlopment Programme

21 November 2014 - 09:17 AM

I have decided that In light of the nature of RvB being what It Is now (that Is not as forgiving) and what with me having some free time on my hands I am going to offer my knowledge and aid to the newer players here In RvB.

In short If you are Interested In working to gain a better understanding of both EvE, RvB and PvP the post In this thread and I will start overseeing your development.

This adoption programme I plan to run will go quite In depth with me covering

- Ship fitting and getting your head round fall off/optimal range

- Making use of bonus's for ships

- Operating In both fleets and solo warfare

- Making use of Ewar, counter measures ect

- Skill training and what path to follow

This will go In unison with answering any questions you may have and us doing some fleet work or roaming RvB space, for this to work you will have to be fairly active within the EU time zone 1800-2200 weekdays or 1700-2300 weekends, this will also take place over the space of a month with me monitoring your progress and helping you along the way.

Most of this work will take place In the main noobfleet channel In game and here on the forums, If you can't spare the time or want to be a part of this but I'm out of your time zone you can still drop me mails In game or on the forums with your questions or problems and I will help you with them.

I am happy to take on anyone Interested even If you are not a member of noobfleet, Red or Blue, new or old, If you have any further questions or want to know more about what I will cover get In touch and don't squander this opportunity, not many players In RvB or even EvE with my knowledge and experience will do this often or at all (unless you join E-Uni)

So as said post here or drop me a mail If Interested and let me know what times work for you and we'll get to work.

Fanfest 2015

30 May 2014 - 10:00 PM

Heya Peeps

Fanfest 2015 will be coming earlier next year, the dates:

March 19th Thrusday - 21st Saturday

As always I will be attending and staying at either the Hotel Reykjavik Centrum or the Centerhotel Plaza as that Is pretty much dead centre Reykjavik and near both the main venue and all of the bar's and eating places, I'd advise going for one of those two since we want to try and keep RvB  close by :)

Alternatively you can stay at some of the hostels also near by but Khador would be better advice on such a matter since he crashed In a few before, although the venue Is only 3 days I'd also advise arriving On the Tuesday 17th and leaving on the Monday 23rd If you can to get the full Fanfest experience both In and out of EvE

If you plan to come or have any thoughts or questions post In here and I'll try and help you as best as possible

Love Mink
