Ok I give up.

Why shield tank an atron and not armour tank it?

Why not use plates and resist rigs for armour? Is it the speed penalty?

Hey man! Good to hear from you again :) thanks for your advice

I think I've been completely neglecting the falloff bonus. I ran an atron fit similar to the one you posted yesterday and surprise a few people.

If you remember, I was flying the incursus a lot before. I'm thinking I'll learn more flying lots of cheap ships rather than a few expensive ones, hence the atron as my choice of ship

Isn't tthere an RvB solo channel already or did that get shut down?  "R-V-B Solo"?  The list of chat channels is linked in the welcome mail from Northern when you join.
