Ironically the new GPU seems to cause some kind of conflict with my wireless mouse (checked all drivers all ok - wireless and wired mice from work all function fine)... so spending $100 on a fix means I've now got to spend more cash on a new squeaker!!! Bloody computers!

The vast majority of RvB loss mails are frigs, indeed there are members who never really fly anything else. We also have a regular frig themed weekend (like the one coming up).

I certainly don't think there's a lack of frigate action...

The arby and the vexor perform optimally in different roles. The vexor is undoubtedly better as a brawler or small gang ship, but the tracking disruption on the arby makes it more potent in larger fleet combat. This is especially the case with the current trend of people flying rail thorax/moas as you can knock their damage down a fair amount (and even make them need to warp and reposition). For fleet combat with the arby go 2x TD, 1 medium neut for frigate tacklers (if they catch you) and 3 drone damage amps. You still put out reasonable damage with this setup and hammerheads assisted to your FC or a brawler (around 380-400 i think). Go for mobility rather than tank.

Suggestion for future versions of this - try 5 man fleets. Outside of euro prime time 10 man fleets combined with few active players usually results in 1 purple 10 man gang going around ganking those not fortunate enough to get into the only active fleet (and a second fleet doesn't help if there isn't 20 active players).

How about rotating the time to other TZs?

lol i think i just worked this out.....  I left the kessie at a safe during the FFA when I was lagging balls and decided to go play market pvp! Dirty smurfs must have scanned it down!

Not only was I not online, but ptygmit was in nullsec docked up. I haven't been to poinen for two weeks or so.... noone else has my login details, but I've changed my pw just in case. Regardless it wasn't that someone else was on my account... because I can clone jump right now and unless someone guessed my password/hacked me, flew from A3 to Poinen, lost a kestrel, then flew back to A3.. that can't be the reason for the existence of this mail.

Took me ages to work out that you were there...... only two Merlin's on the mail and you weren't flying either of them!

Come out to the new null space with an empty clone and a frig. When I'm on you can clone jump over to A3 and we can go hunting...

You can buy digital items from Amazon even if they're US customers only. Just change your account address to a US address while you make the purchase. I usually use the address of Amazon HQ just to rub salt into the wound!

 

Obviously doesn't work for physical items!
