This is a place to Teach Nitro and anyone else how to do computer things!!!

 

I am 30 I did study Computer ...... But I chased tail. I failed the computing but have many a tail to my name!

 

I found a job that did suit me a Plumber   # if you need help on it give me a shout! ( I will tell u if u being ripped off !!)

 

I would love anyone on their spare time just to link things that maybe helpful to the average Joe that doesn't know the best about things the Internet throws at them!!

 

Personally I am sick of linking things when I want them to be a link but then they pop up as the whole thing!!!

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but if you want to learn some basic web stuff, I can recommend trying the Team Treehouse one month free trial (just google "team treehouse one month free"). Just cancel before the end of the trial and they won't charge you.

I am assuming most people are using windows 7 or windows XP or gosh willy VISTA, there are several simple things you can do to speed up performance.

 

Main 2 being turn off unused services and unused startup programs through, start>run>msconfig> service tab, then start up

 

and change to a static page file system amount (page file refers to an old legacy memory program that uses some amount of Hard drive space as RAM)  Control panel>System>advanced>performance> settings>advanced>Virtual memory>custom size.  Make minimum and maximum the same amount, like 1512 or 2048.

 

There is alot more but I do not have time to write them up.

 

Edit: also solid state drives are uber cheap now so go get one and only have operating system on it.
