The Tyrian Trophy is an event I am running to mark the end of RvB's 5th Birthday celebrations (more on those in coming weeks).
Now this event isnt for around 7 weeks (its the week after EVE Vegas), but this is one of those things were the prep starts far in advance (we started the planning in like late July...). So what I want first is for those willing to captain a team to X up here. When doing so, post your TZ and average availability so wherever possible I can match players when main signups begin.
Note that captains do not need to be uber experienced pvpers, top names in RvB or anything like that. Go read Moriar's write up of his experience as proof!
I will also require staff. Staff will not be allowed to fight in the TT, so think carefully before offering your assistance with this.
With regards to staff it looks like Biohazard will reprise his role as our very own Loxy. Running an awesome video setup and making us all look good doing so (seriously watch all the SC videos and see how good that gets as the weekend went on!). However I still need the following:
Commentators. (Taking suggestions/recommendations here). I will be hosting the weekend - read generally waffling on comms.(Got enough of these, saving some spots for outside parties). Arena staff. These guys sit at the centre of the arena and ensure teams stay in range, give countdowns in local and enforce the "rules" with regards to boundaries, keep the MTU emptied, salvage wrecks and so on. Event managers. These guys will share duties will the arena staff but will also ensure teams are ready for their matches, be able to marshall last minute replacements and so on. Would love them to have a social media presence too, to keep the hype train rolling as the weekend goes on. I'll even give them mod rights to the RvB twitch chat PoPos. Folks who are too leet for tournaments, but want to sit cloaked at a perch waiting for opportunistic gankers to come in, who they then jam/fuck up. (Seriously anyone who flies in the TT better learn how to clear killrights!).

I would prefer more x's for captains than staff though. Captains is the key!

Team captains will also be drafted in to to speak on the "show" during the rest breaks between sessions, and at the end of each of the two days. This goes for all captains even of teams knocked out early on day one. It was a really popular idea last go round.
Additionally, if you do get knocked out, hang around to supply a warm body to anyone that needs it, or I can draft you into helping out in the arena, even give you a Referee stint.
