Central thread for all things media related that I care to stamp with the "Official" RvB media label. This includes social media information as well as the usual images - banners and more helpful images (See yngs post for examples) and video type media.

 

And for the stupid: It's RvB. See that lower case v, not a Capital V

 

 

Imagery

 

RvB in the past has utilised the skills of our member base to create our Alliance logo's, banners, and other works as needed. This has lead to a wealth of imagery available for folks to use when creating RvB artwork of their own.  Ensure that when creating imagery for RvB, you use the Red & Blue logos at least.

@rvbeve is the Official RvB twitter.  Follow this, retweet this and all that jazz if you are a twitter user.

 

If you are a twitter user, the correct hashtag to use for RvB is #rvbeve. Please also use the #tweetfleet hashtag when tweeting about RvB, to RvB, or when retweeting us and we did not use it!

As long as its clear, scales well, and isnt comic sans or wingdings, we do not have a font preference.

does anyone have any idea who made the special purple 'stamp' logo? the one used in the tourney..... id like to use it, but the provided size is way too small.

which one? if the one used in the centre of the ship display then that was gunnarr brenivin / virtuozzo on twitter. if you mean the one thats a single shield with RvB on it, that got used on the team names at the start of each match the owner of that is lost in time.

I need the RvB Logos resizing as per CCPs new rules for Alliance Logos.

Logos must be submitted in 512x512 resolution.

Formats accepted are 4 channel .PNG or .TGA with three color channels and one alpha (transparency) channel.

DO NOT use premultiplied alpha.

 

Right now I think we have 1024 size images.  So if some wizard can take the files I linked above and make then into 512x PNGs then provide links to the complete files, we can get Del D to submit them to CCP.

 

If its a lot of work, I'll find something to reward you

 

(Would ask the original artist but it no longer looks like he is active :S)
