Pilots of RvB.Your comrades in arms are about to embark upon a great crusade, toward which they have striven these many months. The eyes of New Eden are upon them all. The hopes and prayers of pew-pew loving people everywhere march with them. In company with their brothers in arms from both Red & Blue, they will bring about the destruction of the LAWN war machine, the elimination of Pandemic tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Tranquility, and security for ourselves in a free world.Their task will not be an easy one. Their enemies are well trained, well equipped and battle hardened, they will fight savagely. But this is the year 2012! Much has happened since the Pandemic triumphs of earlier years. CCP have inflicted upon HydraBreak great defeats, in open battle, post to post. Our home fronts have given our comrades who fly out today an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war thanks to numerous large donations - several of which were over 1 billion isk, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men further supported by the generosity of Somer.Blink. The tide has turned! The free pvper's of the world are marching together to victory!I have full confidence in the courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle of all the pilots we are committing to the crusade to win the 10th Alliance Tournament. We will accept nothing less than full victory!Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessings of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.
Yes Ladies & Gentleman, today is the day.
RvB's campaign to win the 10th Alliance Tournament begins at 19.00 server time with a match against Get Of My Lawn, who are pretty damn terrible when it comes to every day pvp on TQ and do not have that stellar a history in the AT either. RvB expects everyone to be watching
and to be on the audio feed of the RvB Community channel cheering our team on from before 19.00 EVE!
While it is well known we are all T1 frigate alts, we will be parking those Condors and Scythes to be replaced by ships sometimes shinier than golden pieces of eight, fielding well thought out and practiced set-ups. Glory will be ours in a competition that highlights small gang action over blob-tastic super-cap love affairs. And regardless of your idea's on what a small gang actually is, it is what we do best!
So I hope you all join me in crossing fingers, toes, other crossable bits and wishing all the pilots taking part in the AT - both today and over the rest of the campaign - the best of luck.
