[Mangala Solaris]

As per the title really, this old man needs something to keep me focused in EVE. Yes I could re-invigorate the NPSI scene, or live in the donut, or hit up FW but Ive missed so much I want to just play the game for a while to figure stuff out, and where better than RvB, the place I cut my teeth in terms of solo & fleet fights, fleet & corp command, NPSI and even space politics. Who knows, I enjoyed it for years last go round and never left till I quit.  (Im also changing job roles so I'll have more time to actually undock inside of a week now too).

 

I do have a couple of questions though.

 

 

Which side needs pilots the most, Red or Blue?  Ive scanned the killboards and wandered the local space on Mang and on alts, and I cannot see anything that swings me one way or another. 

 

Anything new I need to know about RvB or is it generally same rules (dont be an ass, dont use ECM mids etc)?

 

If numbers are an issue, any plans to resolve, any assistance required?

 

How often do you gets decced these days?

 

Mumble still the same details?

 

 

Last point, you're 10 next year. I've got ideas, expensive ones!

I agree, I would definitely say blue needs A lot of help, last three weeks Ive been able to warp around and do whatever I want in multiple 4+ bil ships without even being scouted..

To answer as best I can:

 

consensus from Officers is that we need to shift a few junior or EC types to Red, though we are slim on officers, but we would like to forgive your previous sins and have you in Blue

 

Generally the rules are the same, the current version of "no station games" is nothing other than T1 Cruisers, T1 Destroyers, and T1 Frigates on HQ grids, all other ships must leave or dock immediately to prevent games.

 

We are having some officer discussions this month and a community meeting on the 21st, we just confirmed this today amongst top 3 so havent informed the crowd, but will post to forums/msgs shortly.

 

Numbers are an issue for all levels (experience levels, officers, members, time zones), we have plans but really just need pushers of content and pew to drive the message more than anything.

 

Decs happen, but not terribly frequent, though they happen more often since we returned to Jos/Otela/Liek  from Oshaima/Oisio

 

Mumble Server had issues, so there is a slight change to the connection details, ive sent the new ones via PM.

 

We arent terribly rich as a corp, but we are holding together well as individuals and making corp some money here and there, enough to fund some fun stuff but defo could help make shit happen if we have more hands to help execute.

 

Wednesday should work but I may have a co-pilot depending on what happens around lunch for me

last few loads of gear will be in the forge this evening, got a fair amount of t2, and bought a ton of t1 frig hulls, looking at a range of cruisers too.  Sorted some fittings out and changed a lot of my existing ships.  The t2 hulls are mostly AFs, but several CS and HACs came in too. Not really things I want to use in RvB, but handy to have around.
